INSPIRATION: My brother and his family had a bear come visit their driveway in CO—broke into their car and left special "packages" behind that the insurance company thought was a joke until they saw the pics!
Both Bear wall hangings (Summer and Winter) are dedicated to that particular situation!! Both are appliqued and quilted.
Spring and summer flowers can't get much prettier than everything happening in this bear's body. Fabric bees and flowers are cut out and appliqued, sewn in place, quilted, then bordered with 2 beautiful fabrics.
One of the borders reminded me of rich earth tones. The other is green copy on a white background full of verbiage about flowers and bees.
It's also been backed with a different fabric entirely. Finally there is a fabric "tube" on the back to use with a small rod to hang it with if desired.
You'll notice that the "framing" is different in that 2 sides are wider than the other 2 sides.
